Eyes of the Wild Program
Animal friends made a return visit to the Hillsdale Library this summer. Among the featured guests were a Vietnamese pot-belly pig, a sugar glider (a marsupial which resembles a squirrel), a 5 month old coati (a cousin to the raccoon), a large 14 year old parrot with a great vocabulary, and an 11 month old baby wallaby. All the children got the chance to pet the baby wallaby after the show. This educational and fun program is a perrennial favorite.

Summer Reading Party
Our annual Summer Reading Party will take place on Tues. Aug. 16th, at 2:00 PM featuring a magic show by Brian Richards. All are invited to attend and summer reading club participants who finished the program will receive their certificates. Refreshments will be served courtesy of ShopRite of Hillsdale.

Just a reminder: The LAST day to log-in summer reading club books is Sat. Aug. 13th. In order to receive your certificate at the club party, please make sure all requirements are finished. Any questions please email Cindy at greenwald@bccls.org.
