Fall StoryTime

Fall Storytime 2010

Registration for the Fall Storytime sessions will start on Tuesday, Sept. 7th, 2010. This may be done in person or by phone. Sessions are as follows:


Tues. 10:30 am 2 ½- 3 ½
Tues. 1:30 pm 3 ½- 5
Thurs. 10:30 am 3 ½- 5




Toddler Time
This program is for children 18 months- 2 ½ with a caregiver. This is a 6 week session for Hillsdale residents only. Toddler Time takes place on Wednesday’s at 11:00 am for a half hour. Registration is required and space is limited.

"Eyes of the Wild" Animal Program!!!!

The Hillsdale Library was transformed into a "petting zoo" as part of the Summer Reading Program. Some of the furry friends that visited were a duck, porcupine, ferret, chinchilla and a wallaby! Fun was had by all!

Musical Extravaganza!!!

As part of the Summer Reading program, children were treated to an interactive musical performance by Kurt Gallagher. Everyone had a blast and maybe the next American Idol 2020 was among the crowd!

African Mask Making

Children got creative when they explored the art form of pottery and created African masks.

Wed. Aug. 18th, 2:00PM- "Bubble Trouble"-Final Summer Reading Club Party. Have you ever seen a pyramid-shaped bubble? Bubbles walking a tightrope? Bubble master Jeff Boyer will show us the beauty and science of bubbles and may even put a kid inside one.
